Alright, few of selatrans had already updated abt our KL trip. But I wanna write 1 too. =D
Somehow, i just feel that I really really really never regret getting involve in School silat. Everything becomes worthwhile now. The experiences I gained, masyaAllah, I thank God for that.

The latest experience was of course, KL. Can u imagine how happy I was when we were told the school would pay for transportation back and fro, and accommodation? Sheeesh! An opportunity ought not to be missed! Like what Irsyad said, gerek ah ngn memeberz!!

So now, where do I start? ahh..
Remember how depressed I was when I simply couldnt participate because of my knee? heh, on the eve of departure, we were told that the championship is.. postponed!!!
nyahahha, we couldnt bring fwd our trip coz everything was booked. so yea, we'll be coming only for friendly matches!!!~~ so that means... we're gonna have more time for shopping!!

so holiday it is!! yay!!

Day 1:

The transnational bus that we took. Everyone seemed gleefully excited. It was 8.30 am in the morning so I bet everyone was so energitically upbeat. So loud we were!


It was quite a long journey. We had 2 stops in between. Some similar mindset all the girls had; teddies to keep us comfort in long long busride!



Reached Puduraya at 2 plus. Heh, the driver made us alight at some.. tepi jalan.


So we had to walk for some distance with our luggages to the stop where the UM bus would pick us up. =D



Ahh...~~ this is the UM bus. Big n beauty rite? cool! its red-carpetted inside! The UM people greeted us hello and brought us to their HUGE school. Oh, suprisingly, I met Syifa' again. Didnt know she was UM student too. Well, atleast I've someone I knew to ask around. =D



The school was really really HUGE! like 3 times bigger than NUS? It took quite a journey in the bus from the main campus to their hostels!


Anjung Penyayang! The "hotel" that we had for our first night. We were told that there werent enough rooms in the hostel for the first night. So had this hotel instead! great! great?


The hotel was a bit isolated from the main area. It was very far indeed!


We had to walk this long long hospital pathway just to go out! It was tiring! mind u my knee! haha


The first dinner. I remember I had mee tom yam!! yummy!




Day 2:

We were all set n ready at Anjung's lobby early in the morning. Schedule said it was time for a morning walk! A tour round the campus!

We visited their Seni museum and we watched this documentary of keris. I think most of us cannot tahan already. Some started to fall asleep. It was a very cozy environment in the afternoon. Esp after u eat!



Then we had to migrate. Packed our luggages and we moved in to their hostel. Initially I thought it looked quite spooky. With long hallway. And shared toilet at the far end. And my room was at the other far end. But Alhamdulillah, it didnt turn out to be spooky at all. =)
Guys and girls were separated into different blocks but still connected.


Each room caters for two. Two beds, two wardrobes, two desks. And there's a small balcony that connects to the next room. Two rooms connected by a balcony. I shared my room with darling Raudah. ;)
Su shared with Huda but their room was a bit far. So they decided to split. Su took the mattres from her room and joined our room. 3 girls in a room... best!

Evening time and we had training. Conducted by Cik Mail and the UM people joined us!! We began to know them more~



The best part was, after training, Syifa brought me to her block... to meet darling-everlasting-missed-n-loved Fadhilah!! Oh I was sooo glad to get to meet her!! feels like its been ages!!! best!! met her in her room. She shared her room with Mardhiah, the girl I knew in preu Al-maarif too! So nice to meet all of them back. Liyana Ali was there too. Gee, I wished I could sit and spent time with them. But the team had alrady left!! And I had to walk all my way back alone. phew~ I was just in time. The moment I reached my room, the sky turned dark. The thought of walking alone in the dark in Malaysia is totally scary!


Time for wash-up and change! Schedule said that night we're going sight-seeing at Putrajaya and to have dinner at KL downtown.

KL downtown... The place was called Ceras. We had some mini shopping after dinner.. all the way till 1 am! An exhausting day indeed. No rest at all!



Day 3:

It was Friday. So the UM peeps brought us to Mesjid Jamik so the guys could peform thier friday prayers. Hours before zohor, we shopped!! I bought really alot!! haha! I think this was my first REAL shopping. Im not lying~~
And there were sooo many people!! they had to pray on roads! in front of shops, in between the bazaars too!


Then we had a long walk. This is.. I dunno what..


but its written up there Ministry of Culture?


Up next was KLCC!! yes!! finally I got to see this twin tower. Cool!

I had A&W float in KLCC. Why arent there A&Ws here anymore?


Back to hostel and finally its time to rest. A whole-day out was unbearable yea? The wether was a bit too hot. And that afternoon, it rained! wheee~~ A nice nap indeed.
Till night, n we had to gather to watch the UM people had their training.

Dinner at the warong next to their training ground.


Watch the Gayong pesilats train. They do stuffs much like that Cik Mail taught us. but of course la.. theirs were soooo much more!!!





Day 4:

Day4 was so gerek!! its on saturday.. and our morning was spent at ulu yam!!! time for some nature. we were told we're gonna mandi2 air sungai!! gerek or wat!



We had to walk on this creaking titi.


It was really freaking cold. we shivered like mad! haha!



It was so fun except the toilet. Can u imagine, toilets in some hutans? ewwwwww!! its like a big house of insects! very dirty and errrgh~~
I dunno how we girls made it.

Up next in the afternoon, it was Petaling street~~ everyone was telling me how great that place was. haha! well yea, i just got to agree with 'em. Antoher round of shopping!!



Very tiring indeed. Soon, its time to go back to the hostels. Coz, we're gonna have training at night. oh b4 dat, we had this mini meeting where we got to meet the UM silat gurus. Some long lost Cik mail n cik salma's friends. haha.

Training at night. Getting themselves prepared for the friendly matches on sunday. Exclude me of course!!~~ LOL.




Day 6:

The friendly took place at UKM. and it involved RP, UM, UKM and USIM. 4 institutes~~
N oh u know wat, they have drift as their CCA? so cool!! n it was just outide the dewan we were in. The screeching sound. seeing it live..wow!

Afterwards, we went to PSSGM. Its like gayong's clubhouse. U can see all the picutes.. from blackNwhites to coloured ones.. n we were searching for young Cik Mail in those grey pictures. haha! He didnt wanna tell us which one he is. but he was one on them.

N we got free lunch~

After that was rest n relax. coz that night, schedule said its malam perpisahan ceremony. so its time to say bye and thanx to the UM peeps!
That night, they wore the same..


we wore the same too! haha


And that night the seni people from UM and RP had to showcase some performances.
yessa su!! im so proud of u!




Then we had dinner before we said goodbye and took tonnes of pictures.





Thats the last night we spent at UM. We had to check out the next morning.. and book a hotel in Puduraya, near to where we alighted when we came. The bus back to Singapore would be at 12 midnight.

Plan was, the whole day we jalan2 and spent the last few hours in KL city. But I wasnt lucky enough. Mary, nina, huda n I had food poisoning and so we girls slept the whole day in the hotel room. It was disastrous to vomit from 4 am to 10 am! very eww!! I was really sick n wished I could snap my fingers and Im back at home. Enough of vomitting, then it was diarrhea. haha! something that I was really worried if I cannot tahan in the bus back home! hahaha! but alhamdulillah, the pocai worked! LOL!!~~

Before we checked into the hotel, I had this hmm.. unexpected experience. Helping a lost Arab guy, together with Su. haha I could never imagine those arab words flew out from me when I really needed them! hahaha! After more than 3 yrs! very bertrabo but I managed to make him understand! nyahahaha! funny!
He's one poor thing. Alone in KL city, not able to speak english or malay, gosh thats terrible! Im still wondering wat happened to him afterwards.

Too much experience from this trip yea?? It was wonderful I must say.
